This is my son Phil. As you can
probably guess, he loves to play guitar.
I have a few songs that were done while he was with his band, Hook
Echo, if
you care to have a listen. I think they are pretty good.
While they no longer have the
band, they all remain close friends. |

Meet Cassidy
On April 15, 2005 - A New
Member Of The Family Joined Us.
He Was Rescued From Our Local
Humane Society. He Is One Year Old, Weighs 80 lbs. and Is THE BEST Dog
Anyone Could Ever Ask For. He Has Some Abandonment Issues, But It Gets
Better Everyday As He Learns To Trust. He Loves To Chase The Bunnies Out
Of "HIS" Backyard. His Favorite Toy Is His Squeaky Barbel.

July 2006 - Cassidy is now over
100 pounds. He no longer has abandonment or abuse issues. He goes with us
pretty much everywhere, even work. He does not chase the bunnies out of
his yard anymore, in fact they actually play together. His bunnies sit in
the backyard and wait for him to come out. I actually caught him laying
down in the shade with them. One of these days I will get a picture of it.
I keep my camera handy and ready at all times now. He is now also
protective of the house and us, but heaven help you when you are invited
in...he will smother you with his affection.

June 2006 - My mother was recently honored in Downtown St. Paul
for her 34 years of service to the low-income community of Southern
Minnesota. Mom went on disability 4 years ago when she became a kidney
dialysis patient. Since then her health has been on a steady decline and
she was forced to retire. She is now in a nursing home and is completely
wheel-chair bound. Family, Friends and her Co-Workers all showed up to
honor her for her unselfish years of service to help others. The Crystal
Vase she is being presented is etched with heart-felt thanks and praise.

In Loving Memory
7/20/1932 - 10/18/2006 |
God saw that you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you and He whispered, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and slowly fade away. Although
we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke
our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
Mom, I Love You and Miss You
After 6 years of fighting so many health
issues and living each day in pain, my mother passed away peacefully on
October 18, 2006 with both her daughters at her bedside. Through it
all she never gave up and always had a smile.
My heart-felt thanks to the Mercy Hospital
Hospice staff. |

While going through some old photographs of my mother's, I came across
this one that I had forgotten all about. The writing on the back (in my
grand-mother's hand-writing) reads...
CALF WITH 7 ON FOREHEAD
1947
Born 7th day
7th month
7th calf born in
the barn.
